1982 250MC - fitting a modern rear rim
« on: July 23, 2009, 02:39:24 am »
HI

I am currently in the desert, bike 12 000 miles away locked up - so please bear with me.

As I understand it, the modern day rims are 36 spoke, and the old KTM has a 40 hole hub.

In what year did KTM adopt the now standard 36 spoke hub configuration ?
So is it feasible to try and source a 1983/85 rear hub that will accept a modern day rim ?

That is the question.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Trevor

Maybe you should try the KTM crew?
