I thought with the population and the amount of events on the east coast, there would be chicks there..and evo chicks too   :o     ???
we are just old pre 75 crew here  ;)

would love to see the pics when she is all together or the whole progress  8)

I don't know how many beach babes come from the Gold Coast to see VMX racing, but I don't think it is as many as you think.

There are some tidy daughters and wives that attend and a few GIRLS ON THE GAS, but I am usually to busy to check them out. Besides my wife would not be happy with me.

Hi VMX247 or should it be VMXFOX,

I will continue posting images of the CZ as I restore her.
I have never had photo image support of the bikes I have restored but I know how valuable it would be for those about to embark. As we know a lot of parts on our bikes now are not original but made to work. This is confusing to those that don't know better. An image of a part can solve so many questions.

I hope you like the end result.
I am thinking of powder coating the frame red, the swingarm silver (to look like alloy) the shocks, rims, hubs and handlebars gold and it will be fitted with a 1974 tank that will be polished alloy.

The engine is made from aluminium and over the years the metal has absorbed filth and corroded. The first thing to do is to plug all the openings so foreign particles don't find their way into the gear box or combustion chamber. Next degrease the engine.

Now the engine is free from oil we can start erasing 30 years of neglect.
You don't need many tools for this job just time and patients.
