Montesa spoke's
« on: December 21, 2008, 04:15:57 pm »
I have a problem with all the front spokes on my old 74 250 enduro. The nipples are all corroded and need replacing I have them all undone and the spokes are alright but being a Monty the thread size is a strange size. Can anybody tell me where I can find these nipples, or do I have to re-spoke the whole wheel?

I've had the same prob. The spokes are stainless and polish up nicely but the spokes have so far proven to be  unobtainable. For the back I found some Ducati nipples that were right.

If you find any let us know ;) 8). Ditto for me.

I found some Ducati spokes that are so close to being right. I've just ran a tap 4mm x 0.7mm through each one and I'll see how that goes.
