Mans best friend
« on: January 13, 2009, 08:15:18 pm »
G'day viewers just thought I would let you all know how lucky I've been this family member has just reached 14 and she's on duty every day and never fails to protect the family she cost $93 all those years ago from the pound.Through shift work and kids growing up it has been good to know someone was watching over the family. I don't think you can own a animal I just think if your lucky and look after one they will do the same back  ;D  8) jimson

Nice dog. Woof Woof. ;D

This is Bella. A Gaurd dog she ain't, but family member and my personal trainer are within her job description (she absolutely insists I go for a one hour 5 klm walk each night and she comes too just to make sure I don't shirk or take short cuts. Such loyality and dedication ;) :D.
I'm with you Gazza, dogs are man best friend  ;D, (I really should get out more ::)).

Good one Jimson.    My GSP, ' Special K ', died three years ago and I'm still not quite ready to replace him.  They reckon if a person's reasonably intelligent there's nothing a good dog can't teach him and mine sure as hell tried.

Our treasured Blue Heeler has gone now too. Grew up here as the kids/familys best mate . They did not go out without Holly tagging along nipping at their push or motorbike bike tyres and yapping merrily.  The boys fed her a Mars bar every day and lots of do do-gooders told them off as "that chocolate is a sure poison for your dog and she will die early!"  We had her put down because of cancers and pain, but not enough even at the end for a lick of your hand . Holly was 19+ years old. She rests in peace in the middle of our old practice track block, now called Hollys Run.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
