RM Suspension I.D.
« on: January 07, 2009, 04:49:19 pm »
Came off a cr125m of all things. My guess is '77 rm125? What do you reckon? I don't have a use for these so if somebody wants to buy them, all the better.

there will be a part number on top of shock body. let me know part number and i will tell you what they are off. they are pre 1980 though

have you got any 1980 RM shocks? im looking for some

what OD are forks? if 36mm i would possibly say they are 78 RM, if 38mm 79/80 RM. threaded hole in top clamp for numberplate would usually indicate its not for PE

The shocks are RMb/c models and the forks are possibly RMb, hard to tell cos i can't see the bottom clearly. They aren't RMc forks cos they had the screw on extended cap.

That must be the 250C1 model that came out mid '77, the 125 and 400 C models and 250C2 had plastic tanks and fork leg extenders. Hope that makes sense..

The front end is on another (looks dr) bike. I think the forks are a reference , not the whole package. Thanks for the pic feetupfun.
