suzuki fork caps

im trying to find some air fork caps to suit 33mm OD TS Suzuki forks. The thread I need is 25mm (will probably measure 24.90-25) X 1mm pitch. I have found out 86-88 RM 80 has 33mm forks. Does anyone have a set of those forks they can measure the cap thread OD? i cant just assume that since tehy have 33mm legs that the caps will fit.

At the very least a cap from an old TS, TM or RM with an external hex that might work and then I can screw a Schrader valve in them. I hope to be able to use some caps off something else to keep costs low before I resort to getting someone to machine some.

Is there any other little suzukis that come with air forks caps with 25x 1mm thread? There may be a bike that has caps that size but not necessarily have 33mm OD fork legs.


what do these 1980 RM 80 fork caps measure? maybe they will fit?

well i found a ebay seller with 1980 RM caps but he said they measure 25.7mm, that im sure is too big to be 25mm. my guess is they are 26mm and hes pressed real hard with the calipers and got 25.7mm. that isnt a common metric size i think suzuki would of used so im sure they are 26mm which would be no good.

Doc, dont you have some early 80's RM forks?
