It seemed like a reasonable unrestored bike, it definately pulled a good price.

A mate had a road registered 84 model in the late eighties / early nineties. It came with a NOS barrel. When he eventually put the new barrel on he found out the new barrel was an 83 model. He made it fit but he had to fart arse around with a few things, reed valve, airbox connection & I think ovaled some bolt holes etc, allthough it was a long time ago now & can't remember the details.

Just curious if this may have been the same bike??
