YZ125X project bike, or will wreck.
« on: December 01, 2008, 09:38:24 pm »
No air box, no kick-starter or side covers.
Has seat and tank, but the tank is rough (and is from a YZ175, so it has 175 stickers).
Excellent chrome on forks.
No obvious disasters.
DT175 (I think) carby.
Matching numbers.

$500.

Pics coming.

My number is 04000 23847, but nobody likes to actually talk to people on the phone, so I'm not sure why I bother (Sorry, little rant there....).

:D Jeez Snowy - you're making me think that I'm selling the wrong bike! (The one he's posted pics of is now my race bike... I'd forgotten how rough it was!)

Anyhow, here's the pics of the bike that's for sale:

There are some tiny rust spots on the fork legs between the triples, but overall, they're a great pair of forks - the marks you can see are old dried out adhesive.
I'm keeping one of the fork boots, but you'll get a reasonable replacement.
Will sell for less if I can keep the pipe.
Has reasonable (not great) compression, turns over smoothly.
