MX lighter headlight cover

Hi does anyone have or know were i can get a mx lighter headlight cover if you have the clymer 77-80 pe manual youll know exactly what im talking about i presume they are only yellow thanks Michael.

the light cover on the PE in the clymer manual is made by KC hilites USA. i reckon you want the 5 inch one. i got a 6 inch but little too big for PE light, will have to double check tomorrow if i remember, not usre if it was a real good fit over the chrome grille. looks like they dont do the 5 inch in yellow anymore. they used to a couple years ago. you should be able to find a nos one on ebay USA or phone up the australian importer for KC hilites, should be some left in AU i reckon. the printed logos come off with paint thinners no problems. ive done it.

yeah i know what you mean now. the cover says KC Day Lighter not MX lighter. the words make a smiley face. KC Is the eyes.

i just checked the website and there is a 5 inch cover listed its 5401. dont know why it didnt show up the otherday

i just tryed a 6 inch cover i have and it doesnt fit too bad on PE light. i will have to get a 5 inch cover and try to see which size fits better. i looked on ebay and there is plenty of 6 inch KC covers, no 5 inch covers.

i was thinking that somone who makes seat covers could also stitch one up. we could also get PE logos printed on them or something. maybe the seat cover guy in NZ could make them. i also thought about getting the yellow KC covers, removing the logos and making some stencils and using spray on vinyl paint and do my own logos.
