So did Cotton. Using those particular motors was their death knell.
Jim, yeah, the early Fantic trials bikes (Trial 200, actually a 156cc) used a Minerelli. And a very good bike it was too. Thereafter Fantic produced their own motors.

Laverda also dabled in the 2stroke trailbike market in mid 70's w a Husky-engined 125, & a 250 w fully enclosed chain & adjustabe rake. If my scanner worked I'd post a couple of pics. Don't think they lasted long tho.

Thats them. Thanks Roger.
Can't see it in those pics on the 250 but it had adjustable rake via pivot & plates on the steering head w several holes. Aligning diff holes gave diff rake.
