hi
what is the best stuff for cleaning crud out of a plastic tank.there is a big stain on one side of my plastic tank

don't really have an answer sorry, i bought some Blue Lightning tank sealer and it specified in the instructions a number of different solvents to clean the tank before use.
I emailed and asked them which one was safest but got zip in reply. So I was planning on using a grease and wax remover like you'd use before spray painting, after testing it on an old bit of plastic first. A couple of the guys here gave me some info though

Hot soapy water,soak awhile, shake well, drain repeat.
