RAD Shocky Repairs?
« on: November 21, 2008, 11:18:12 pm »
Has anyone here used the services of RAD Shocky Repairs in
496 Sherwood Rd, Sherwood QLD 4075?
They advertise being able to rebuild sealed shock absorbers - and I have some 70's shockys that look structurally (Chrome etc) OK but don't do any absorbing any more. Worth a try?

i had them rebuild a set of MX125c rear shocks that were sealed units. top job and the shocks now work a treat! it was a while back and i can't remember what i paid but it was cheaper than buying a new set.
i don't think they're at that address anymore but are still in sherwood, so the ph number should be the same.
worth a shot!

He rebuilt my ITC Ohlins internals off my Husky.  $200 including rechroming one shaft. Havent used them yet but they now have damping again! Good friendly service, quick turnaround...and just around the corner!

yep, they rebuilt my yz g monoshock and were very good. they have the krappiest looking shed because their old one under the warehouse burnt down with the warehouse. the pricing matches their overheads - low. good luck finding them in their new place it's right up the back of the shed complex, i had to call him on the mobile and get him to talk me through in the car. highly recommend them.
