I didn't think there was enough meat in a B44 liner to go to 90mm !
My CCM barrel is out to 90mm from 88mm giving me a 520cc (on a short stroke crank). The liner there is now quite thin.
I would be tempted to have a chat with Mark Cook at PES Engineering in the UK. 0044 1249 760 777
If you remove the liner, bore out the barrel, fit a new alloy liner with a nikasil coating then maybe.
But then again....... I may be wrong.

Thanks for your reply, apparently there is a kit to do this job. Ii will have a chat with Mark, I bought my fluted CCM engine covers for my Cheney from him. nEB has a conversion with cast iron barrel but price is horrific.

Anyway scored a cheap B44 engine that needs reassembly so figured I would do Marks clutch conversion seeing the motor is in bits....I need new piston so thought of the big bore at the same time.  Now all I need is oil in frame BSA frame....I picked up Rickman kit that is designed for BSA frame , that is tank and body work etc along with a bolt on sub frame.

Marc, there was recently a Rickman Weslake 490/B44 kit for sale on eBay and I don't think it sold. It was a lot of money but as you undoubtably know, these toys ain't cheap. I'll see if my mate kept the sellers details. I just today ordered a bunch of stuf for my Cheney from Simon and his prices have gone up a fair bit. C'est la vie!

Yeah I saw that Rickman barrel on ebay, missed the end of the auction so thought it had been sold, sellers details would be great.

UK is getting crazy expensive on the exchange rate and I find the yanks have a more 'can do' attitude when it comes to arranging payment and freight. Only problem is all the specialist companies are in the UK.
