Lotta work there - plus freight.  Love to find a Stiletto though, somewhere in Australia (Qld would be nice) - not hard to please, am I.

The bike could be a rare OSSA Desert Phantom, similar to Gary Hodges that was in the Kevlar Kompound at CD5. You don't often see the red desert model.

It's a gp2 firko, I'm having a crack at it....although the way the Aus$ is going it could end as a real expensive tranaction.
Does that Desert phantom above have Yamaha forks?

Not too sure about the forks but I'll give Hodgy a call and ask.

Best looking MXer for me too ToofastTim - in blue/red/white/silver of GP2

I had a thorough look at that Desert Phantom at CD5. Seemed to me to be a fair bit non-original. Certainly non-original jap forks & hub. Pipe & rear suspension looked home-made/modifed to me too, & far too much laid-down shocks.

Nice looking tho, but not as nice as blue GP2 for me.

There's two of these in Sydney. One a Champion framed Phantom powered, almost the same as the one for sale and a genuine DMR framed Stilleto factory job. Both bikes have been here since almost new and are curently undergoing resto.
