this can be tricky as they varied a lot between markets and the different versions (trail or enduro). the best person to ask is oldfart on the forum. my gut says 36mm but i have a feeling those white enduro ones use 38mm PE forks, but thats only what ive read in bike tests and maybe that was only the later 500's and the full floater DR 250 enduros

is this the one you have

Dr 400 came out with 36 mm forks .....Common swap was to add Pe 250 - 400  forks and retain the Dr triples  :)

Andy Roberton was a bit dubious about boring the triple clamps 2mm. I used 125 ones and had the DR steerer pressed in. Due to the extra beefiness of the RM 125 clamps the steerer is only just long enough. Having said that I had a look at Suzuki 36 and 38 triple clamps from a same model but different year and Suzuki appeared to have bored them out.... Al Baker used to provide this service so it should be safe.
