It's great to see that Drakie is still the eternal CZ tragic, Jaroslav is looking in good nick too. It looks like he's avoided the Kozel Lager in his retirement. It's a cold war tragedy that this bloke didn't win the '74 World 250 title. I don't know how Guennady Moisseev slept at night.

I doubt Moisseev had much of a say in the episode. He was just a puppet - blame the puppetteer [and the eternally spineless FIM jury]!!!

It would be really interesting to hear Faltas slant on the story [after all this time]. I have a feeling that he might not blame Guennady directly. They might even be mates by now - he is a class act so it wouldn't surprise me. But it would still make an interesting postscript.

Now that would make a good story for VMX. Perhaps a series of stories following up on some of the more colourful or controversial episodes in our sport and how the participants [victims] feel about things today!

VMX LIVES
Fantastic times,Fantastic people, the true movement of pre75 lives forever.
Wandering WA was great stuff.
Mr Peter Drakeford from the great VMX mag also dropped in for a few weeks from his own CZ school of knowledge. What a guy and he can write a mean story to have you fixed all day long on the www.vmxwa website reading.
Hope all is well with everyone and TMBill isn't still sucking on the pipe.
Got to gp and pick up school child.
Happy Spring

Hey there GD66, huge thanks for the autographed by Jaroslav Falta & Jiri Starec CZ shirt - didn't see that coming!. Shane presented it to me when I rocked up to the NZ vintage champs yesterday.
It's just the coolest gift that any CZ rider could own, makes me all misty eyed when I remember a time as a kid on my old CZ175 pretending I was like Jaroslav...
