I found a 1.6x19" alloy rim yesterday at the Castlemaine swap meet. It has only 32 holes, but I think I might be able to lace it up leaving 4 spoke holes empty in the hub... Should work - with slightly variable spoke lengths. I'll give it a try anyway... Might even put up a photo here when I'm done to see if it is obvious or not....
