If you decide to go with 600 rod and need help with the machining I do that type of work.

How did you go with this saga HL500, I am getting my small end fixed if you haven't already done yours it will work out better to do more at once. I have a guy making a jig to hold the crack shaft while being machined. I have two cranks shafts so doing one as a spare.

What is the cost of the Jig? I have always pressed the crank apart to do them and can't imagine how difficult it would be to try and finish hone the bush in the rod hone machine with the crank attached. I would have thought that the $70-80 to press apart and re-assemble the crank would be cheaper than a jig.
