Suspension for flat tracker
« on: August 20, 2018, 05:32:14 pm »
Hi all, the vintage dirt track area has been a bit quiet, but I have a question.  I'm putting together my first US style tracker, which has a modified 1989 mx frame, including a modified,  relocated swingarm and twin shock arrangement.  The forks are RZ 350 and the shocks are just no brand jobs.  I want to keep the forks, shocks I will probably change as they look too modern (blingy gold things).  If I can figure out the process ill  attach a photo.

What I want to ask is i understand you set up stiff for dirt track?  What sort of spring rates front and rear?  I weigh about 85kg with riding stuff.  Any recommendations  for shocks too?
