Any ideas on what wide foot pegs would suit a 77 RM125?

TIA

Don’t waste your time putting wide pegs on original mounts. They will snap the mounts off. Cut the mounts off and weld on late model YZ pegs and mounts. I just put on a set of titanium pegs from a YZ. $50 from the wreckers, I got lucky.  I can’t put up pictures here but if you send me your mobile I’ll text you the pics. 0407004473

I just put a set of generic pit bike pegs on my 78 RM. some very minor grinding to fit.
I put big pegs on all my vintage bikes and have never snaped the mount, maybe it depends how much you weigh??

Heavy landings off jumps put a lot of stress on the foot peg mounts and tubby riders  :P

What would Liam Beverly weighed 4 years ago Mick, under 70 kgs? Snapped it clean off at Port Augusta Nats with the standard pegs and mounts.

There you go, he didnt even have oversize pegs. 40 year old dirt bikes taking a pounding anything can happen.

Somebody put peg wideners on it before I bought it. If you feel comfortable with Chinese pit bike  pegs go for it.

They are piss weak John. I sent the guy some pics of a far stronger set up. Got some late model titanium YZ pegs and mounts on the B now. It is a great bike????
Aftermarket alloy are worse than Chinese pegs. Steel or titanium are the go

l have Chinese stainless pegs on my KX400, Firko gave me the heads-up on them, they look identical to the pegs on an Atomik 250 that is hiding down the back corner of the shed ;-) these pegs cost me $12 delivered, with pins & springs (although not needed for this application).

The steel is so hard, l had a bitch of time trying to drill / grind the pin hole out from 8mm to 10mm!
