My favorite sidecar pic.  I took this at Barrabool, around 1975.

Every time I have ever thought about racing one...I remember this and shake my head. ::)

mate raced a kwaka 9 speedway outfit in the 80's. i had a ride on the chair once and decided ïts not for me"... his short career was interspersed with significant bingles. the best bingle had the outfit 10 metres in the air with the rider and passenger not far behind.. it landed on its back wheel..no more riding that day.

another close one was at the bendigo speedway when curly spun out in the first turn... he just got it straight when clarri jones who had bogged the start came thru and punted them down the straight back to racing speed and they were off and running.
