Help with brake shoes please
« on: June 02, 2017, 10:54:14 pm »
Hey Guy's,

I am chasing a good (great) set of front brake shoes for KX250A5, from what l have researched (you know the accuracy of the internet) the ebc no's are S602 (Suz fitment also) and/or K705.

Genuine no's are 41048-1068, 41048-1076 & 41048-1017.

I'm chasing a high friction rating, the highest l've found is DP9133's with a 'GF' rating. I guess non asbestos or sintered metal is what l am looking for?

Has anyone got a set of stock shoes relined with a high friction material? If so, where / whom should l contact?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Regards, John.

I get them bonded all the time in Bendigo. I get them done 1mm oversize (to what the hub is) & then do the final machining to get them "just right".
