Greetings from Canada
« on: September 14, 2016, 06:39:00 am »
Hi, my name is Steve and I live on Vancouver Island. I have a long term connection with Montesa, first raced a straight fin 250VR in 1973. I worked with the Canadian importer from 1973 to '79, and took over their parts inventory in 1988. I have been selling these parts since then, and still have a decent stock of NOS, repro, and used parts. Most of my bikes are trials, including a 1975 Cota 247 UKR, a '76 348, a '77 348 Trail, and my modern ride, a 2004 315r, the last of the strokers! On the road side, I have a 1967 250 Impala Sport, and a 1975 Rapita 250. My only running MX bike is a '74 VR 250 that I restored in 2001. Lots of projects, the one getting attention now is a Cota 172. I am needing shocks, and am wondering if anyone has experience with the OZO shocks, or the British Rockshocks?
Let me know if I can help out with Montesa parts from the '70s.
