Optional RM swingarm 77 ?

US ebay at present is what looks like the optional aluminium swingarm for the 1977 RM's. The brake tab is in the correct place etc. He has $175 on it.

Look at were the tab is welded on the OPTIONAL ARM in place,  and there will be no visible weld.

And this is why I cant be farked visiting this site anymore ....  quoted   "I'm not going to tell what it is but there is an obvious difference"

Not sure if I'm looking at the same one but looks to me like a painted steel arm!

Yeah 250C arm is a steel one
Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022

I seen guys with aftermarket alloy arms at CD12 on the weekend who were going to the Nats, wonder how they get on !

The cable guide is the difference. C/C2 alloy just has wire loop screwed to s/arm. Optional B alloy has wire cable guide screwed to welded on tag on top of swingarm.

Aftermarket is fine if it was built/available pre Dec 31 1977
