89 XR6 with NSW rego until mid-July 2016.
I bought this with plans to give it a tidy up and use it, but I don't have enough interest and could do with the cash for other hare-brained schemes... Really, it's only a couple of hundred dollars away from being a very good thing.
Fitted with 85-87 twin carb motor, 650 barrel (NX650 or XR650L), twin carbs and correct airbox boot.
Very good compression.
Not currently running, despite having spark and fuel. Might be as simple as my lousy four-stroke starting technique.
Factory stainless headers, feeding into Staintune muffler.
Also includes original 89 motor missing head. Good bore, good aftermarket piston (will literally only near a head).
Includes Mikuni flatslide carb to suit single carb head.
New Maier headlight surround, original tail light, switch gear & speedo. Blinkers & mirrors missing.
Renthal alloy bars. Levers & grips are good.
Sprockets are good.
Good road legal knobbies F&R. IRC front (looks like an original XR tyre), Dunlop 606 rear.
Missing rear side covers, missing air filter.
