i had a look in my 82 fox book. all thats in there is a page on features of the twin clicker and a page showing a cutaway diagram of the shocks internals. there is a short list of part numbers for shocks for each model. for the RM floaters is lists a part number but after in brackets it says 'reservoir kit' so i think in 82 they were not selling a complete shock for Rm's as the stock one wasnt too bad, but were only selling a reservoir kit which would of been a larger oversizeed, maybe finned type. thats about as much as i can help. try asking Thor Lawson in USA (fox shock guy) also on his website is a link to a guy who specializes in twin clickers. also ask Scott steger at www.vintagefactory.com he has lots of old catalogues and manuals
