Bike stands
« on: December 10, 2015, 01:38:42 pm »
can anybody save me some shopping around?  Bike stands for the , say, pre 75 bikes, nice and low - where to get?  So far all I have seen are too tall even when adjusted, if they can be?

I got quite a good one from that Torpedo 7 mob, fits straight under the Husky.

Edit : Scratch that, just had a look on their site and it is NLA, however they doe have one with a lowered height of 310mm on sale for $50.

No, but it has rocketed up in the last 18 months or so.

I got one from Aldi when their dirt bike accessories went on sale. Seems to do the job. It's the push lever pop up type.

I want a "wheel around" (with the bike on it) stand.
Any recommendations? (Or ones to steer clear of?)

I got one from 4enduro.com . It's a hydraulic high lift stand with wheels. Easy on the back however the wheels make it taller than otherwise to get the bike onto it.  Great to push the bike around the shed and store it close to other items.

I got one from my local bike shop. Yep, just drove on down there and bought one.
Its the new States MX lift stand adjustable top winds down to 245mm and has the Dampener on it. Perfect for VMX bikes, best one I have used.  $99 RRP.
