Is it too early to whip the hat around for FatBoy's bail?

I worked at a SX in Altona many years back, helped out on the start gate.
I was always so busy setting up the next race that I didn’t get a chance to watch any racing until the final.
Found out afterwards that I also got burnt to a crisp prior to sunset.

It was good to be involved though.

Tossa's reference to the 'one eyed purple people eater' reminded me of my brother Kerry Cox whose first racing car drive down in Tassie was in an old Ford V8 monster he built which became known around Longford & Baskerville etc. as 'The one eyed flying purple petrol eater' maybe you 'Taswegians' might  have seen it go. [if you're old enough!] cheers pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

Great racing, crowd was down a bit 6000 not surprising fair bit of rain I had a good night on the start line with the grid girls and the riders.
How did I get that good job you asked I am good friends with the Clerke of Course and the Steward so I was told were the best spot was.
I was that close to the racing that when the grid girls walked past I had to watch they didnt tread on my tongue. ;D ;D
Does anyone know when it is on TV they tell me it may be on one hd or sbs you will definatly see me at the start.

cheers
