Thanks once again must go to BMCC for their support for the sidecars.
We have at least 10, possibly 12, for the Qld titles and that will grow for the "Triple Crown" of this event , the Classic Nationals & the Post Classic Nationals, all at Harrisville this year.
I think if we get any more, we'll have to draw lots for start positions as the grid wont be wide enough.

We ended with 11 on the grid, weather was perfect if a little dusty and I was fortunate enough to take the win with David Mattock on his EML XS880. We won both heats on Saturday and a safe 2nd on Sunday wrapped it up for us over Wayne Holloway & David Rotheram on Wayne's EML GR650. As it was up to pre90, Jakes Hawes & Daniel Tyson took out 3rd on Geoff Udys VMC CR500 in what was only thier 3rd event.
So looking forward we hope to get a good field for the pre75 titles in June.

I suppose we could run all of them right up to pre2005, frames are free apparently so WSP with Jawa is the go.
We try to run as close to the regs as possible but we also need to showcase the sidecars. We get no spectators to speak of....only a handful, so it's probably better to have some sidecars out there and not sitting in sheds because their front brake reservoir isn't round.
We could run as we are and see who wants to protest after the final round of course but up here no one would want to spend the money to protest....not for a tin cup FFS!

Anyways, we would love to see some pre75 and pre68 sidecars at Harrisville in June for the National Classic motocross championships.
I live 20mins from the track and any sidecar teams would be most welcome to hold up here if it means saving some dollars on hotels or camp fees.
This is the most vintage friendly circuit but still competitive enough to be a challenge to sidecar teams but with enough space to get by if you have the speed. Suspension is not a big deal a the jumps are very friendly and getting drive out the corners will be where you need good shocks.
Tyre wear isn't a big deal either so all round a great track, great club and big prize money....ooops, run off at the mouth there...ummm, nice trophies.
