« on: January 05, 2015, 01:39:53 pm »
SOLD SOLD SOLD

Another bike with provenance: this one used to belong to Tex.

100% rideable race bike.
Shock just rebuilt with new oil, seal and bump stop. Also has stiffer spring fitted (suit ~80kg rider).
Forks/front wheel and brake from 1984 XR250 in RM triples. New fork seals, and boots.
Typical slop in floater bearings.
Wheel bearings new, good swingarm bearings.

Good levers/grips/etc. Renthal alloy bars.
Good chain and sprockets.
Very good tyres.
Cosmetically average, but passable as a race bike.

Motor starts easily and runs well. Good compression under foot.
On +1.00mm piston, new +1.50mm piston kit included.
Rod good.
New airfilters.

Lots of spares, including:
Original RM drum brake front end (wheel, forks, brake, axle, cable);
Pair of RM250D 43mm forks;
Another pair of hubs;
Radiator;
Plastics;
Pipe;
Workshop manual;
Triples;
Lots of other bits and pieces I forget about now.

I've got a safety seat kit on order, not sure where the order is up to.
$1350ono as is, $1500ono with seat kit.
SOLD SOLD SOLD

I bought this as an interim bike while I was taking forever to finish my Pre-85 KX125. Now I need the money to finish the KX...
