ebay listings - went to list my bike on ebay - upfront fees not too bad - $22 in total for listing and a reserve - however then read the fine print - final cost to me will be calculated on final cost to buyer should it sell - anywhere up to several hundred dollars extra over the original!!

Gumtree is good exposure as well Ross, free unless you Highlight/feature it and no need for that. There wouldn't be too many other RM250Bs there.

I had a look on Face book too, don't see me into that for a while, but maybe its also a place to find an additional audience though.

Certainly more expensive than it used to be, I sold a Gardner carb recently which fetched $200, postage to Sydney $20-odd, Paypal took 12 days to release the funds (well we knew that  ) and then today the sales invoice arrived, $40 or 20% of the transaction....much higher than it was, you just have to weigh up the value of selling to a wide audience.

Jumbo, i had to set my primary shipping address to a friends USA address and have it ship there. I did ask the seller if he could change the title and he said he would look into it but in the end did nothing about it. The silly thing was that it said international shipping was ok but i could not actually place a bid. It was a air shock spanner for the seal head.
