So if the start straight is 400 metres it doesn't comply with the MA Track Guidelines.

The maximum length is 125 Metres to the inside of the first corner.  6.4.2.

Don't worry about Kevvy Greg. He is just a analytical Qlder. Blow your trumpet up there Kev where all the rules are thrown out

I have read a load of negative feedback about Dargle since it's opening mid-year... some accurate, but most of it simply BS.

We really have to remember a few things here:
* The track is privately owned and the family that live there seem to be really doing their best after 20 odd years of no use (not sure on exact years cos I'm a Mexican but it'd be close I'd say),
* It has it's teething issues - absolutely - but remember to be kind in the offering of feedback to make it better, because...
* Any additional venue to ride our bikes at is a bloody good thing with all the pressures our tracks are constantly under !

For those that havent ridden it yet - throw your entry in, clean your filters and see you there!  :)

Hardo this pains me to say  :'( BUT  - Above is the most sensible thing anyone on here has said for a very long time.

Fortunately the positive reports, feedback and just plain thankyous outnumbered the negatives 3 or 4  to one but like a shop or business you only ever hear the negatives.

When you actually follow up the complaints they are relatively minor things or the rider hates woops or hates sand or the grass section was slippery well bloody hell it is motocross yes I know it is VMX and we are much older but everyone rides the same track.

If anyone cares to think about it we had more injuries at Canwindra than any other track this year should we ban flat smooth tracks? ::)

From a non pedantic, rule abiding Queenslander, good on you for bringing an iconic track back to life. You're unfortunately always going to get the negatives and the axe grinders but the show goes on in spite of them. Hope to come down and have a ride there next year.

Having to go that close to Sydney is the worst thing about Dargle... :D
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

There is a large shower block with nice hot water and plenty of lighting open 24 hours at the caravan park across the road from the track. The Dargle management have told us as long as no bikes are ridden down there, all members are welcome to use them at any time.

Also, DARGLE IS A NO TEAR OFF TRACK
Just a reminder to all riders, Dargle is a tear off free facility to protect the livestock. Roll Offs only
