Yeah that RM framed little thumper is nice and was mounted in so it used the rm mounts but it's tilted back too far and you'd have to run the oil alot higher on the dipstick compared to when it was in a Honda frame.the carb is along way back as well

The bottom frame rails need to be cut out and new ones made to get the motor to sit properly in the frame, also modify top and bottom rear mounts

The HL XR 200 looks interesting except for the tank. I had to modify the Honda tank to get it to look right. The RM frame is wide at the point the other frame tubes join.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

Cheers mate,got it today thanks heaps, have read it & learned a CR125M3 swingarm is the go & as g465b said there was a hot up article in the OCT 80 issue, found another great guy on gumtree, complete stranger, had a rough copy & he said I could not sell it like that, send me your address & it's yours :), now i'm really feeling the XR200 love ;) :)
