also new to board

Hi all.
New to the board but have had xl honda's since the late 70's. Just finished a complete rebuild on an xl350 / 422cc motor that has been on the "to do" list since 1983, and am about to embark on a frame for it - a mostly road bike.
Other projects also under way - in the loose 25 year time frame! are another 2 -  3 xl 420's and 1 -2 xl 250's.
Regular  bike is an XS1100 with side car, I hesitate to use the term road bike on such a bush pig. And a couple of K100RT BMW's, one of which is looking for a side car.

Hello Ollie, a few on the forum have the big XL's, Tim's the sidecar guru and one of my best mates recently purchased a crashed K100 and has spent a bit of time fixing her up. Looks great now and ya can't get him off it after spending the past 10 years riding an XR600 on the black stuff. Reckons it's soooo smooth and rides like a limo but he's having a little trouble coming to grips with the shaft drive and it's 'different' behavior :D your excess 11 can probably run with the evo's if it's around a G or H model ;) you seem to have a thing for shaft drives, very unique in VMX  ;D
