Can anyone tell me the difference between a 1982 and 1983 rear shock on 490 Maicos

I bet the subject had a lot of you reading this post    ;D

Don't know the difference and don't care either, just like everybody else here, but there is some homo at vTr that has a purple spring on his Maygo Brako that may be able to help you.

I saw his black 490 at Gloucester today. Now that is a work of art. That is until you get to the two boingy things holding the back up. It must have been off dole cheque week when he bought them.
