Hi, first post...

Peter here from Brisbane. Currently riding a 79yz but starting out setting up a tt500 for old time sake. Will be keen to see/hear what ideas are going with the thumper guys. I've done a fair bit of work on the old yz and happy to chat with other 2smokers or people trying to get the sales guy at their local shop to accept that there was an F model yz that was a 2stroke. Does their little modern heads in :-)

Hi,
Old bikes do cost money but, unlike new ones, they don't depreciate when the next model is released.

They don't deteriorate before your eyes, like boats do, either.

I did read of a bloke who's greatest fear was that when he died, his wife would sell all his bikes, and
when she did, she would finally realise how much more money he had been spending, than he ever told her he had.

See you at the races, Daryl.
Life's too short not to try to do Everything.

"First they tell you you're wrong, and they can prove it.
Then they tell you you're right, but it's not important.
Then they tell you it is important, but they knew it all along."
Charles Kettering.
