Is that good?

When you look back at footage of the early days of Supercross (when they actually started of by calling it stadium motocross) it was just that, a motocross track, albeit man-made, in a stadium. When Firko said he got caught up the the excitment of the early days, it was probably cause it was actually exciting.

And don't get me started on what has happened to touring car racing over here. Parity my arse.

The old tennis centre stuff wasn't that bad, because nobody in this country was that good at Supercross.  There were heaps of takeouts, crazy riding and dodgy jumping.  Once the locals worked out how to ride those tracks, it became like slot cars.

I bet Reed's series has some crazy riding too.  They've done the right thing by playing with the race formats.  Less focus on fitness and accuracy; more opportunity for the nutter who can hold it on for 3 laps.

For you boys banging on about Touring Cars... they had to do something!  Not even the mighty DJR RS500 Sierras had an answer to those GT-Rs.  Look at the racing now.  Bathurst last year was an absolute balls to the wall barnburner of a race.  I was on the edge of my seat.  I like the new format.  It's more about racing than adding/subtracting weight for parity and all that other BS that went on.
