The DMCC ran a vintage class on the weekend. The limit was put at pre 90 as that’s what most of the bikes were. There were about 4-5 pre 90’s, one pre 85, one EVO, two pre 78 (only one ridden) and one pre 75

We ran a handicap system where the pre 90‘s got their finishing points. Pre 85 got an extra point, EVO got an extra two, pre 78 got 3 and pre 75 got 4

The vintage bikes ran in with C grade, the track was quite vintage friendly even on my TM125. I only got to ride ¾ of the first race as my throttle stuck closed then open. Once I got back to my ute I found I had a callout for work so that ended my day. Muz kept riding and we are awaiting results.

The next one is in two weeks and I’m not on-call for that weekend.
The older I get, the faster I was

I didn't even realise it was on until the Thursday.  Wouldn't have be able to ride anyway, the KX is still not back together.

Was going to go and have a look but it started to rain etc.  Will take the young fella out in a couple of weeks to have a look.

Good luck to the NT vmxers. Remember from little things big things grow. Persevere and I'm sure you will grow the sport up there in the Territory. I remember my first enduro was the Scott Creek Enduro in 1985 when I was working at Suzuki Cornell for Mal McConnell on a borrowed PE175T. Bike disappeared into a buffalo wallow with me on it!!
