Nice clothes...

Just pulled the old RM250T out of the shed. You may recall the saga with this one. It died on me last August I think and I haven't looked at it since. But it does look nice I reckon.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Great bike and a great project ahead.  Why did it die? Mechanical, ignition?  Might need a new chain as well, the old one has worn off..
Cheers,
Alex

You want to see something really cool.. go here http://www.coastalmcc.com/history.html and watch Rosco Taylor on his 1980 RM250 giving it to Graham Smythe on his YZ at Coastal Park..

I liked the comments about Coastal .... I rode a CR500 there one time and the ability of the sand to absorb power and the terrifying feeling of speed when you arrived at the end of the main straight was what I remember the most. I think it might have been Eddie Warren that the Goose cleaned up. But he was on his home track.

“It is a sand circuit, but the sand is different to anything that I've ridden, it sort of swallows you.” Jason Marshall, a local rider of that time, beat the American and Australia's best on that day.
