CR250M /125 front bracket

re: 73/74. forks - are these different width in the triple clamps and also diameter of the tubes..

bought a front plate mounting bracket for a 73 CR250 from eBay "stampman" when it arrived it wasn't wide enough. when questioned he tells me it was patterned of a CR125 and that they are the same part No.  Is that correct?

Jumbo, CR125M has a 31 mm stanchion diameter; the 250's are 35.

The tube spacing in the triples is also wider..

Contacted  Stampman for either a refund or one that fits- drop kick said i have to buy another one including shipping. His eBay ad says it fits a CR 250 when clearly it doesnt. he has now added that its patterned off a 125. some people !
