Web site guru???
« on: January 20, 2015, 06:50:26 pm »
Any members out there have the knowledge/skills to help out poor old Russell (KDX175) with his website? He makes really great alloy cases & needs to get them to the global market

Just saw him reply to an inquiry from the USA & quote "my website is crap" so surely someone can lend him a hand & set up a cracking, you beaut website etc to help him sell his excellent products.

Need to help him continue his good work for making castings as these skills are almost lost forever from our dying manufacturing industries here in ANZ.

While the AUD is low, they have to be really attractive to the USA market so reckon Russell could do with any help from some of the people on here  ;)

He already  has a website (dont know what it is),  but I pressume he considers it is crap & hence why I was asking if someone could contact him & help professionalise it for him  ;)

You know, a bit of bling, lots of links etc etc

With all respect Russell's problem is to do with his low literacy, not where he puts his advertising.

He needs a helper with some technical knowledge and copy writing skills.
If you love it, lube it.

His business is simple:
He makes a niche product that is otherwise unobtainable, and therefore sells itself.

There is no need for a bells and whistles website - just something clear and simple that lists the products with prices and a photo for each.

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

reaching the target market is the key so a good webby who can set up the search parameters to hook anyone who is even thinking about that stuff is the go

Is that Russell's actual website?

Pics need labels, and some detail photos would be good.
An address or at least a little bit of "about us" would also make people who don't know him feel more confident.

Other than that, I don't think it needs anything more.

Yes it is.
I can only put on the website in terms of labeled pics etc and about us stuff with what Russel supplies.
In terms of here is the product and contact it works fine.
If you wish to help Russel then posting the link to his website on forums such as this would be appreciated.
If someone wants to write a marketing spiel about his products I'm happy to add it.
