Don't tell the missus
« on: June 30, 2008, 09:27:59 am »

Hello all.

it's my first time and I best introduce myself.
I find myself with strange urges, cold sweets and clammy hands (a middle ager with the urge to ride and collect VMX bikes)
We recently moved to Brisbane and I am looking for new relationships (i.e. more bikes & like minded people)
I enjoy a good 4 stroke and am prepared to pay for it.  (I want to build a HL500)
I hope to start getting around the traps soon (i.e. races and meets)
Look forward to getting together - and don't tel the missus, she is quicker off the start than I am

Cheers

The Romans didn’t build a great empire by organising meetings.  They did it by killing anybody who got in their way.

All people are your relatives; therefore expect only trouble from them

Gidday Bruce, welcome to you. There's a few forum people in the greater Brisbane area.
Not sure if you're aware but there's VMX meet this Sunday 06 July at Raubers Rd Nudgee, a few klicks north of the Gateway Bridge.
It was to be a two day extravaganza but it's been demoted to a Club Day.

There should be heaps of bikes and people so come along and say gidday.
"Whadaya mean it's too loud?! It's a f*ckin' race bike!! That pipe makes it go louder - and look faster!!"
