suzuki frame number

Suzuki frame number RM 125 - 215845 what year is this I had a look on the Suzuki site with no luck

Hi Steve, i had a look also and its hard to work out for that bike and number.  Suzuki went to VIN numbers after 1980/81 so if yours doesnt have any letters in it then it should be 1980 RM125T-102503 to JS1RF11A_B_100000.  Anything older and the frame number would be lower than 102503.  Post up a pick of bike if you have one and it will be easy to tell.  Otherwise, i would say it may be a 1980 T model PE frame as they started at 200030.

1982 RM125Z  frame # RM125-285661

my guess it's an '81X  ;)
