Countershaft sprocket covers ...... just sayin.
« on: December 02, 2014, 02:28:42 PM »
Sorry I don't read all posts on the forum, I don't know if this has been discussed before ~

In the MOMS, countershaft sprocket covers are mandatory for vintage motocross bikes, with riders old enough & experienced enough to not let there fingers go anywhere near there, yet in-experienced kids on modern bikes do NOT have to run sprocket covers ......eh?!!!!

Its all about distance from nearest sprocket tooth to frame.  Big distance on old bikes (till early/mid eighties at least).

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
