Apparently there was a '73 Kaw F11M on the Gold Coast on ebay  few weeks ago. Anyone see it or know where it ended up?

no never saw an f11m,, there was a 74 model Kawasaki kx 250, in 1973 there was only one sold in geelong, Gary Adams raced an f11m for Benders Motorcycles.
I think that your thinking of the F12 450 that was sold 2 weeks ago.

Thanks Dave. You are probably correct. I never saw it myself on ebay. A friend told me about it, but he did say it still had the plastic levers which made me wonder. As I recall it was only the F12M that had those. The F11M had alloy ones.

I never knew Gary Adams rode an F11M. Wonder what he tho't of it? (Do you know?)

I used to race one myself back in 73. There were very few of them in Oz. I knew of only 2 in Qld. Very light for their day.

The F12 450 that was sold had the original plastic levers, one our club members bought it, I just don`t know why they put plastic Clutch and front brake perches and levers on them, may be to save weight.  Gary Adam ride it well, I did ask him about it once, but I don`t remember his comment.
