Mikuni PLASTIC Main Jet
« on: September 09, 2014, 04:35:05 pm »
Has anyone come across a plastic Mikuni main jet before. I am rebuilding a RM250A motor and was checking the carby jets before starting and came across this. Its a round slide 36mm carb, looks original [doesn't have the idle screw]. It even has the size on it [270]. Just curious.

They were made by PSI and were called 'Pro-Jet kits' I got a few NOS ones. They also made clear float bowls.

Joan  most probably what LWC has quote is correct as you could buy them back in the day ... a bit of "Craft" syndrome creeping in mate  ;)
