watching MotoGp on computer
« on: April 14, 2014, 09:37:42 am »

Hey Guys,

seeing as how USELESS channel 10 has decided to dud us all and not show Moto2 and Moto3 i am sussing out downloading from computer LIVE via the MotoGp webshop, HAS ANYONE done this? can you advise what speeds will download at HD speeds?  From what i can understand mine, via adsl2 is supposed to be 130kbps but during peak times can be as slow as 78kbps, makes no sense to me at all!!!

Cost is a 100 euro a year and gives access to their full library which includes all the two stroke stuff (yee hah, real bikes!) back to 1992.

HELP!
Kt.

There have been issues with high traffic affecting the downloads, if you have a look through the motomatters.com forum there is discussion about this. MotoGP.com have been offering a flash high-$$$ package that includes your choice of on-bike camera, no commentary etc but it gave headaches galore last year and still remains unsorted.
I'm not as enraged as I expected at the disappearance of the smaller classes as with their dumbed-down formulae they are no longer really cutting-edge GP racing anyway.
I have tried cricfree last year and got mixed results, perhaps being an utter gumby on a computer doesn't help... :D

A friend was at Austin rode up to the track parked his bike only to be told he couldn't park in that spot, protested innocence/ignorance, fellow says "Wait here until I come back" in a stern voice. 20mins later old mate comes back with 3 day grandstand pass, a PADDOCK pass and a 3 day bike parking pass.............then was endless selfies with the stars on FB etc etc we'll never hear the end of it   :D
