Car mechanic
« on: August 12, 2014, 10:14:29 am »
Just wondering if anyone here is or knows of a mechanic who could check out a car for me in Perth? Being near Melbourne it would be nice to get some info before I commit to a flight over and drive back. The car is an XF Panelvan.
Cheers, Grahame

Thanks for the info. No problems at all with paying for the service. but it looks like I missed out on it. Will keep the information if something else comes up.

What could possibly go wrong with an XF that requires a mechanic's input?!

XF checklist:
1) Does it run?
2) How many door handles still work?
If the answers are Yes and All of them, then you've got yourself a minter.

More to the point, when does it make sense to buy a $1000 car from the other side of the country?
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
