Just checked the SuzukiAus EPC parts lookup from home and can tell you the front cable is NLA, rear is available and should be about $40, head and base gasket NLA, RH crank seal about $17, LH crank seal about $13, centre case gasket NLA, LH case cover gasket NLA, the only "seal" in the gearbox is the primary shaft oil seal and its about $8. A gasket "set" would have to be bought aftermarket as nearly all OEM gaskets are sold piece by piece. These (and nearly everything else) should be able to be sourced aftermarket by any dealer through SERCO Aus for the engine parts and A1 accessories for Motion Pro cables. So yes in a roundabout sorta way your local dealer would be the simplest way to get everything without the hassle. Hope this helps.

Cheers, Brendan

Suzuki has an obsolete part list available to dealers. Trick is getting one of them to take the time and search it for you. I snagged a 1 of 2 rear(?) spoke kits for an 82 PE175 left in the U.S. that way 4-5 years ago. The newer dealerships will tell you they never heard of it (and maybe they have not!).

I've been advised from a respected source that Suzuki is looking to wind up production of early (incl 80's) YELLOW plastics. Might be the time now to start some orders if you are looking for OEM plastics. Just saying.
WANTED. Canams;all models,complete or parts.SWM stuff too!

pretty right Brendon, he got on to a heap of stuff locally and through mick hone so its coming together nicely. its currently getting a new muffler constructed, bikes had new bearings, cleaned brakes up, new fork oil, trimmed the 38 inch wide bars and fitted cables all round, new throttle and grips and sorted some dodgy bolts and fittings.

its actually a "z" model and he has got on to the skydrive and other pe sites and got things happening nicely. looking forward to a ride on it next week.

I though it had a blown maggy side crank seal as it was running on a bit when we rode it and there is a tiny bit of up and down play in the mains but we fired it up the other day and it seemed ok.

We wd 40'd everything and no change. then I realised that we had ripped the carb slide out to change the cable and the seal under the cap was all crinkled up and I sorted it out and maybe that was the problem. further testing next week

took it for a spin last week, pretty tidy now but the engine seal has definitely gone. can feel the power wavering as it climbs onto the zing place. nice tight bike to ride.
