True, it's an uncanny resemblance.

What a life,"Movie Star gets down and dirty on the weekend".With his friend Bud Ekins,Steve rode with the USA ISDT team at least twice(Bud rode 7 ISDT's winning many Gold medals),raced bikes and buggies in desert races, the Baja 500,motocross,and drove and rode in 2 of the most famous car and bike chases ever filmed. In The Great Escape,Bud did the jump in the film, and Steve, dressed as a German Soldier, chased him on another bike.In Bullitt,Bud did most of the driving in the Green Mustang, with Steve doing as much driving as the studio would allow. In the Bullitt chase they passed the same green VW Beetle 4 times, maybe the Bug knew a few short cuts.
